Behavioral Health Services

LRC is committed to seeing the person first and not the challenge or disease. Behavioral health requires that we look at all aspects of a person’s well-being. This includes a number of different factors which can affect one’s behavioral health, such as:

  • Diet
  • Medication
  • Exercise habits
  • Alcohol and drug use
  • Relationships
  • Chronic health issues
  • Trauma

A person’s mental wellness is a component of their behavioral health. Behavioral health encompasses both mental health conditions, such as depression and anxiety, and also includes substance use and addictions. Mental health conditions and substance use can affect many areas of one’s life and interpersonal relationships. At LRC we strive to meet the client where they are at and incorporate couples, family, group and individual counseling in treatment plans. Behavioral health also focuses on addressing addictions and substance abuse problems. At the core, behavioral health includes more conditions than just mental wellness.

The Behavioral Health Team at LRC strives to develop healthy therapeutic relationships with individuals by demonstrating an authentic compassion, unconditional positive regard, and congruency. We offer a client-centered, individualized, and holistic form of treatment with a wide array of services that are evidence based. Treatment staff is knowledgeable in many areas including:
